While in Europe I went to the Nurburgring Nordschlieffe with my family. It was abosolutely one of the best experiences I have ever had and was more fun than can be easily described.

Back in Paris

I'm back in Paris now, almost a year to the day from the last time I was here, but for a lot shorter of a period of time. It feels as if little has changed and that I still live here, it is nice to have that comme d'habitude feeling about a place. So far I have discussed many business opportunities, seen a few old friends, run my fastest mile and my fastest 5k, slept 5 hours in 2 days and have not felt like smoking at all.

I think France must turn me into superman or something.

I have been gone for a while. I was away from home for 10 months. 10 months away from my wife, my friends, my whole life. I got a lot of good work done in those 10 months but i needed a break from the advertising life for a while to work on my book, work on rebuilding friendships and to spend with my wife.

I also didn't lead the healthiest lifestyle while on the road, so I have been working out and improving my fitness as well. I was turning thirty and realized that I had the average fitness of a fifty year old, and I needed to make some changes. I write this as I arrive back from a 2.5 mile run in 90 degrees. Something I did not have the ability to do a few months ago. Now i am running 5ks, I can't beleive how much can change.

sorry this post isnt full of weird pictures, or advertising or any stuff like that, just wanted to reconnect and open this blog back up for business now that the new site is up and I am ready to go.

I am headed to France and Germany next week for a trip to visit friends and family in Paris, then head to the Nurburgring Nordschieffe. I will have a full update with lots of info, I swear.
